On April 1, 2026, at 1103 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 2800 block of Cambridge Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 1106 hours
Under Control: 1111 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and fire on the outside of an enclosed rear porch. Crews pulled hose lines and extinguished a small fire on the exterior of home. Firefighters vented the home of all smoke and completed salvage and overhaul procedures.
The house was searched, but no one was found inside.
The fire’s origin and cause are under investigation.
