On March 31, 2026, at 1237 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 800 block of Creighton Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1237 hours
On Scene: 1241 hours
Under Control: 1305 hours
FWFD Truck 1 and Engine 9 arrived with Battalion 11 on the scene to find a working fire in the rear portion of the house. Crews met the occupant and dog in the front yard. Everyone was reported to have self-evacuated. Crews went to work extinguishing the fire inside and out while making sure no one else was inside. The fire was extinguished and crews continued working looking for hidden fires.
No injuries were reported.
