Join the History Center for the George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series
Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 28, 2026) – On Sunday, April 12, the History Center will present the next installment of the 2025-2026 George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series. “Robison Park: Fort Wayne’s Pleasure Resort” will be presented by Randolph Harter. During this lecture, audience members will learn of the hugely popular Robison Park which operated north of Fort Wayne alongside the St. Joe River from July 1896 through the 1919 season. It will cover the fascinating history of the park and will showcase dozens of park images that have been assembled from a number of public and private collections. Most of these wonderful photographs have never been published and will be publicly shared for the first time.
*Please note that the April lecture will be on the second Sunday of April, instead of the first*
The lecture begins at 2 PM and admission is free to the public.
