NWS: Strong Spring storm system on Sunday and Monday

The National Weather Service is forecasting a strong Spring storm system will pass through our area this Sunday and Monday bringing rain and snow.

Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 12, 2026) – A strong low pressure system will lift into the Midwest and Great Lakes on Sunday. It will be mild with rain/storms possible on Sunday, followed by very cold air, strong winds, and snow on Monday. Uncertainties remain but this could be a very active, impactful system.
