Free Christmas Tree disposal at the City Utilities’ Biosolids facility

Residents wanting to dispose of their holiday tree can do so for free by taking it to the City Utilities’ Biosolids facility at 6202 Lake Avenue.

Biosolids Offering FREE Christmas Tree Disposal

Fort Wayne, Indiana (December 29, 2025) – Residents wanting to dispose of their holiday tree can do so for free by taking it to the City Utilities’ Biosolids facility at 6202 Lake Avenue. All decorative items must be removed prior to dropping off.

The Biosolids facility’s winter hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and it is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Biosolids will also be closed on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026.
