On December 28, 2025, at 1914 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 700 block of Orlando Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 1939 hours
Firefighters arrived and found a fire in the ceiling of the living room. Firefighters opened up the involved area of the ceiling and quickly extinguished the fire. The awareness of the possible fire and the quick activation of 9-1-1 by the residents prevented more fire damage.
The occupants had self-evacuated prior to the department’s arrival.
The fire was under control in x20 minutes and is under investigation.
