On December 30, 2025, at 1925 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department received calls of a single-vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on West Coliseum Boulevard, west of the intersection at Goshen Road.

Details/Summary:
On December 30, 2025, the Fort Wayne Police Department received calls of a single vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on West Coliseum Boulevard, just west of the intersection at Goshen Road at approximately 7:25pm. Officers and Medics arrived on scene and found a male suffering from life threatening injuries. Treatment was quickly rendered at the scene, and the male was transported to a local hospital where he would later be pronounced deceased.
The driver of the SUV involved stayed on scene and is cooperating with Officers. Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the accident. All EASTBOUND traffic on Coliseum Blvd, west of the intersection, is currently being rerouted.
The FWPD Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) with the assistance of the Air Support Unit (ASU) is documenting the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the FWPD FACT team and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
