
On January 27, 2019, at 0046 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department surrounded a house in the 300 block of Dunbar Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana, to serve a fugitive homicide warrant for Gerald Pinkston.

Details/Summary:
On January 27th, 2019, Detectives in the Homicide Division, Gang & Violent Crimes Unit and a USMS Task Force Officer were able to determine from a long term investigation that Gerald Pinkston was residing at 3– Dunbar Lane, and was currently present there.
Detectives and Officers surrounded the house, loud hailed and ordering Gerald out. At first Gerald refused comply. Officers deployed a distraction device and Gerald then exited the home. He was taken into custody without incident.
Pinkston was later transported to Allen County Lockup, where he was charged with the above offenses.
This investigation is ongoing.
