2025 Festival of Gingerbread opening day and weekend

The 40th annual Festival of Gingerbread officially opens today at 9am, with special programs throughout opening weekend.

2025 Festival of Gingerbread opening day and weekend

Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 28, 2025) — The day we’ve been waiting for is here! The 40th annual Festival of Gingerbread officially opens today at 9am, with special programs throughout opening weekend. Come in and see the record breaking 183 beautiful and imaginative gingerbread creations! While you’re here enjoy our luxuriously restored Shields Room, permanent exhibits and temporary holiday displays throughout the museum.

On Saturday, November 29, from 12-5pm you can make your own Pipe Cleaner Trees for only $1 plus regular admission.

On Sunday, November 30, from 12-5pm you can make a “Legend of the Gingerbread” Ornament to take home for only $1 plus regular admission.

Don’t forget to stock up on Gingerbread Men Cookies while you’re here. They are only 75 cents each. YUM!
