Eco Fest hosts Eco-Friendly Gift Wrap Workshop
Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 12, 2025) – Wrap It Up, the Eco-Friendly Way! In an effort to make the holidays a little more eco-friendly, Eco Fest is hosting a sustainable gift wrapping workshop. For context, the average American produces 25% more waste during the holiday season, and Americans use approximately 4.6 million pounds of wrapping paper annually. A large portion of this is not recyclable due to glitter, foil, or plastic additives. This hands-on workshop will highlight creative and sustainable ways to reduce gift wrapping waste. Learn simple techniques for beautiful, thoughtful wrapping that’s kind to the planet — just in time for the holidays.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to use fabric to wrap a gift inspired by furoshiki, a Japanese wrapping cloth. Leave feeling inspired to give gifts that look great and do good.
