First 2025 ‘U Can Crush Hunger’ Results are In at Community Harvest Food Bank
Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 31, 2025) – Community Harvest Food Bank’s 11th Annual ‘U Can Crush Hunger’ Campaign is in full gear! Our first weigh-in at all participating schools is now complete, and we have exciting news to share! As of Monday, October 31st, a whopping 93,043 pounds of food have been raised toward our overall goal of 125,000 pounds! The competition ends this Friday, November 7th, so there is still time to vote for your school online at www.chfb.org and each $1 donated counts as 4 pounds of food. Huntington University, Indiana Tech, Indiana University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech, Manchester University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Trine University, and the University of Saint Francis are extremely competitive in this year’s U Can Crush Hunger holiday food drive. Every dollar and pound of food raised in this competition will support hunger relief initiatives within the counties where food and funds are collected, including all partner school pantries.
We are extremely thrilled to announce the results of our first weigh-in.
The standings are as follows:
- PFW 27,336 lbs
- Indiana Tech 12,044 lbs
- IU Fort Wayne 10,172 lbs
- Manchester University 9,613 lbs
- Trine University 9,021 lbs
- University of Saint Francis 8,728 lbs
- Ivy Tech 8,529 lbs
- Huntington University 7,600 lbs
Community Members, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni are all encouraged to continue the support of their school, which will graciously provide meals to thousands of northeast Indiana families, helping to alleviate hunger in our region.
