Tippmann Group announces plans for new corporate headquarters building in Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 20, 2025) – Tippmann Group has been a part of the Fort Wayne community since 1968 and is one of the largest family owned temperature-controlled construction and cold storage warehousing providers in the United States. Today, Tippmann Group is celebrating the construction of their new corporate headquarters building in Fort Wayne.

Tippmann Group’s corporate office is home to Tippmann Construction, a design/build construction firm specializing in temperature-controlled facilities for the food industry, Interstate Warehousing, one of the top 5 public refrigerated warehouse companies in the United States, and Tippmann Properties, a property management company that owns and maintains office space (including the Lincoln Tower) in Fort Wayne. All the companies under the Tippmann Group umbrella have undergone exponential growth in recent years, creating the need for a new space to house the 110 corporate employees based out of the Fort Wayne office. The new facility also allows opportunities for future expansion within the company.

“This is an exciting time for Tippmann Group,” said John Tippmann, Jr., President of Tippmann Group. “When my father laid the foundation for this company nearly 60 years ago, I’m not sure he imagined the scale and success it would one day achieve. We’ve been blessed with an amazing group of employees over the years who have always put our customers first and strive to make us better every day. That commitment to excellence has turned Tippmann Group into what it is today, and we’re looking forward to strengthening our roots here in Fort Wayne with this new corporate office.”

The new 47,000 square foot office will sit on a 42-acre site on the northwest corner of the intersection of Clinton and Wallen Roads.

“Public-private partnerships continue to make a positive difference in Fort Wayne. Our collaboration with the Tippmann Group on tax increment financing for infrastructure components on this project help position our community as a great place to start and grow a business with excellent amenities that are attractive for companies, individuals, and families,” said Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker. “We appreciate and value the Tippmann Group’s commitment to our great city. Private investments working in tandem with the public sector are getting results.”

The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division, through the Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission, is supporting this significant investment through a public-private partnership. The Commission will reimburse some public infrastructure improvements, including previously planned road work along Clinton Street, using tax increment financing (TIF) from the North Clinton Economic Development Area. These improvements will not only meet the needs of the Tippmann Group’s new corporate headquarters but will also support future development opportunities in this key growth corridor.
