Traffic Alert: East Pettit Avenue lane restriction

Starting October 22, 2025, crews will be restoring a portion of East Petit Avenue damaged by a water main break.

Fort Wayne City Utilities news release:

Traffic Alert: East Pettit Avenue – Lane Restriction

Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 21, 2025) – Starting at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, October 22, crews will be restoring a portion of East Petit Avenue damaged by a water main break.

During the repair eastbound traffic on E Petit will be moved to the westbound left turn lane near the South Anthony Boulevard.

This lane restriction is expected to last one day.
