On September 7, 2025, at 2317 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 1900 block of North Clinton Street in regards to a single-vehicle accident involving a moped.

Details/Summary:
On Saturday September 7th 2025 at approximately 11:17 pm officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were dispatched to the 1900 block of N Clinton regarding a single vehicle crash involving a moped. When officers arrived, they located the mope rider, an adult male, unconscious. Medics transported the man to a local hospital where they listed his condition as life threatening.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor. This incident remains under investigation with the Fort Wayne Police Department Fatal Crash Team and Allen County prosecutor’s office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
