On November 23, 2019, at 1526 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to the 600 block of West State Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
FWFD Alarm Code: 704
Time of Alarm: 1526 hours
On Scene: 1530 hours
Under Control: 1548 hours
Firefighters arrived and reported heavy fire showing from the front of the house. Crews extinguished the fire in approximately 20 minutes.
The occupant safely self-evacuated, but reported that two pets were still inside at the time of the fire. Firefighters were able to locate and rescue both.
No injuries were reported.
