On October 14, 2019, at 0144 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 4600 block of Werling Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0144 hours
On Scene: 0149 hours
Under Control: 0211 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found heavy fire on the rear of the structure and began working to extinguish the blaze. No occupants were reported inside the structure. All units worked to bring the fire under control in approximately 25 minutes.
The cause of the fire was accidental and related to a charcoal grill near the back of the house.
