On August 28, 2019, at 1009 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 4500 block of Lillie Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 1012 hours
Under Control: 1037 hours
The first engine arrived in 3 minutes and found a one-story home with fire coming from the front and side. The crew pulled a hand line for fire attack and searched for occupants. Other crews arrived and helped fight the fire and complete salvage work. The fire was under control in 25 minutes.
One person was home at the time of the fire but self-evacuated. The occupant was injured and was treated by Three Rivers Ambulance Authority medics.
No other injuries were reported.
