On August 28, 2019, at 2358 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1600 block of Hinton Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 0004 hours
Under Control: 0010 hours
The first firefighters arrived and found a one-story residential home with smoke showing from the front of the house. The crew pulled a hand line for fire attack and search. The fire was located in the front living room and was under control in 6 minutes.
The only occupant that was home at the time of the fire safely self-evacuated before the department’s arrival.
No injuries were reported.
