On July 4, 2019, at 0243 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire in the 5800 block of Bunt Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0243 hours
On Scene: 0247 hours
Under Control: 0256 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and fire coming from the front window of the apartment. Crews found a moderate fire in the apartment. The fire was extinguished and the apartment was then checked for extension into the attic area. The fire was under control in about 10 minutes.
The apartment was vacant. Occupants of the next apartment were evacuated by firefighters.
No injuries were reported and this fire remains under investigation.
