On April 29, 2019, at 1645 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1900 block of Curdes Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1645 hours
On Scene: 1647 hours
Under Control: 1702 hours
Firefighters arrived on the scene within 2 minutes to find heavy fire showing from an upstairs bedroom window. Firefighters made entry and extinguished the fire bringing it under control in 15 minutes.
One adult occupant and four dogs self-evacuated prior to the department’s arrival.
Fire Damage: Moderate
Water Damage: Minor
Smoke Damage: Heavy
