On April 13, 2019, at 1533 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 2700 block of Oxford Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

A Fort Wayne Police Department unit called in a house on fire at 1533 this afternoon. Three minutes later, firefighters arrived and found the outside rear corner of the home on fire. The fire was spreading into the attic and through a fence to the house next door. Crews extinguished the exterior fire and stopped the spread to the home next door. At the same time, another crew cleared the home and extinguished the fire in the attic.
All occupants were reported out of the home.
The fire remains under investigation.
