
On March 7, 2019, at 1039 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 2100 block of Fox Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 1053 hours
The first firefighters arrived on the scene in two minutes from the time of the alarm. They found a medium two-story house with light brown smoke coming from the structure. Firefighters made entry into the house where they found a fire in an upstairs bedroom. The fire was placed under control in about ten minutes.
It was reported that no one was home at the time of the fire. A family cat was found inside the home safe and returned to the owner. No injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
