On February 12, 2019, at 1530 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire in the 2500 block of Abbey Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1530 hours
On Scene: 1534 hours
Under Control: 1639 hours
Firefighters rescued three people from the balcony on the rear of the building. At this time it is not known how many people are affected by the fire, but eight apartments are not livable at this time. One juvenile was transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation. His condition is unknown at this time.
