Alternating lane closures planned for I-69
Allen County, Indiana (October 2, 2025) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating lane closures on I-69 in Fort Wayne.
Starting on or after October 6, crews will be working in both directions of I-69 between Branstrator Road and Coldwater Road. During the alternating lane closures, crews will be completing punch list items as part of ongoing concrete patching and joint repairs. Work on the project is expected to be complete by the beginning of November. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
Overnight double lane closures are expected in this area from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Drivers may also see a single lane closure during daytime hours.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
