On November 9, 2020, at 0512 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to an apartment fire in the 1100 block of Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0512 hours
On Scene: 0515 hours
Under Control: 0601 hours
Firefighters arrived in three minutes and found a fire in a first-floor apartment of a multi-apartment home. Fire damage was confined to the apartment of origin, however there was smoke and water damage throughout all the apartments.
All occupants from the apartments evacuated prior to FWFD arrival. One firefighter was injured and will require further evaluation.
The fire appeared to be electrical in nature.
