On July 3, 2020, at 2336 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 4000 block of Oliver Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 2338 hours
Under Control: 2354 hours
The first units on the scene reported fire on the side of the house and also showing from the second-floor. Firefighters entered the house and encountered fire on the first and second floors. Firefighters worked for approximately 20 minutes battling the blaze.
A search for occupants was conducted and no one was found as all occupants were away from the house for the evening. One family pet was rescued by firefighters and returned safely to family members.
No injuries were reported.
