
On June 11, 2020, at 1837 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 233 Pearl Street, in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The first firefighters on the scene found heavy smoke coming from a commercial building. Two crews pulled attack lines to address the fire and the truck crew searched the building for possible occupants. The fire was extinguished in 26 minutes.
No occupants were found. One firefighter fell 8-feet through an opening in the floor to the basement suffering minor injuries.
