On October 4, 2021, at 1200 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1200 block of Huestis Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1200 hours
On Scene: 1203 hours
Under Control: 1219 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found smoke and fire showing from first-floor window. Crews forced their way into the house and quickly extinguished the fire. A thorough search of the house was conducted and no one was found inside. The fire did not extend into any other areas of the structure.
Investigation is still on going, no injuries were reported.

Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Heavy
