On October 21, 2022, at 1445 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1200 block of Valdosta Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1445 hours
On Scene: 1447 hours
Under Control: 1502 hours
The first firefighters arrived in two minutes and found smoke coming from the attic/roof area of the home. Upon investigation, firefighters found a fire in the attic that had also spread to the outside of the home. Firefighters had the fire under control in 15 minutes.
The fire remains under investigation.
Two occupants were able to safely self-evacuate.
