On July 26, 2022, at 1002 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at the Legal Chop Shop at 2532 Goshen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 1105 hours
The first firefighters arrived to fire showing throughout the structure. All occupants were already outside the building having self-evacuated safely. Crews pulled multiple lines from the ground and used aerial apparatus to bring the fire under control in an hour and three minutes.
The fire was found to be accidental in nature while an employee was working on a vehicle.
Crews worked for several hours overhauling the structure after the fire. Efforts were made to control run-off water.
