
On July 23, 2022, at 1039 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 4400 block of Lillie Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1039 hours
On Scene: 1043 hours
Under Control: 1055 hours
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy fire and smoke coming from the front of the house. Neighbors advised that all occupants had self-evacuated safely. Crews attacked the fire with multiple hose lines. The fire appeared to have started in a bedroom and spread to other areas of the home, including the attic space.
Fire crews got the incident under control in 12 minutes after arrival. Extensive salvage and overhaul of the structure was required.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the family.
