On May 9, 2022, at 2348 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to the 7500 block of Antebellum Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 2348 hours
On Scene: 2350 hours
Under Control: 0025 hours
Upon arrival, the firefighters found smoke and fire coming from the rear of the structure. The fire was extinguished on the first floor but it had extended to the second floor and attic and was extinguished.
There were two adults at home and were awakened by the smoke and self-evacuated. A cat did die in the fire.
The fire is still under investigation.
