On April 16, 2022, at 1305 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire in the 4600 block of Pleasant Valley Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1305 hours
On Scene: 1311 hours
Under Control: 1324 hours
Firefighters arrived to find well involved single-wide trailer/mobile home. The fire took awhile to get under control due to breezy conditions and heavy fire involvement.
All occupants self-evacuated, but a dog perished in the fire.
The fire is under investigation. FWFD was assisted by TRAA, AEP, Animal control and building dept. Red Cross is assisting the occupants.
