
On March 5, 2022, at 0005 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire in the 6400 block of Hillside Oaks Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 0005 hours
On Scene: 0011 hours
Under Control: 0024 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found a single-wide mobile home with a significant amount of fire showing from the front end. Firefighters quickly attacked the fire and contained it to the home of origin.
The fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes.
Firefighters conducted a search for the occupants but found none. It was later discovered that the owner was at work and not home at the time of the fire.
There was no damage to the adjacent structures although the home sustained heavy fire, smoke, and water damage.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
