FWFD: Webb Industries Fire, 3925 Ardmore Avenue

On February 28, 2022, at 2143 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at Webb Industries at 3925 Ardmore Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 2143 hours
On Scene: 2147 hours
Under Control: 2228 hours

As crews were responding to the fire, the response was upgraded to a code 704 building fire. First units arrived to find smoke throughout the building. An investigation found the fire to be from duct work from a weaving machine. The fire was contained to the duct work that traveled up to the roof. Minor smoke and fire damage occurred to the machinery and building.

The building was occupied and manufacturing at the time of the fire and all employees were able to return to work after fire operations were wrapped up.
