
On February 14, 2022, at 1854 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 1065 West Rudisill Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1854 hours
On Scene: 1901 hours
Under Control: 1917 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found a moderate amount of smoke on the first and second floors. After taking a hose line into the structure, they found a small fire in a laundry room on the second floor. The fire, which was contained by the sprinkler system, was quickly extinguished. Maintenance personnel who were on scene stated that the building was not occupied which a search confirmed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters remain on the scene conducting salvage and overhaul activities.
