
On December 22, 2023, at 1130 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 6500 block of Tanbank Trail, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1130 hours
On Scene: 1134 hours
Under Control: 1147 hours
The first arriving unit found heavy smoke emanating from the roof line and fire near the base of the chimney. Firefighters entered the home and laddered the roof to extinguish the fire in the chimney.
Two adults escaped the house on their own and two cats were rescued.
