Fort Wayne City Utilities maintenance crews are planning to lower the Cedarville Reservoir as requested by the Allen County Highway Department for work on the Grabill Road Bridge.

Cedarville Reservoir Lowered for Grabill Road Bridge
Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 3, 2025) – City Utilities maintenance crews are planning to lower the Cedarville Reservoir as requested by the Allen County Highway Department for work on the Grabill Road Bridge. The lowering will begin on Friday, September 19, 2025. Returning the reservoir to normal levels is planned around Monday, October 13, 2025.
Residents should plan to remove their boats.
Residents around the reservoir should check their mailbox for a recently mailed postcard with information or visit the Allen County website or call (260) 449-3650.
