
On August 22, 2023, at 1206 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1700 block of Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1206 hours
On Scene: 1210 hours
Under Control: 1221 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the rear of the structure. Crews were able to extinguish the fire in about 15 minutes amd the fire was contained to the first-floor with smoke damage throughout the entire structure.
Investigators were on scene for an additional hour.
Fire Damage: Moderate
Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Heavy
