There are several upcoming projects that will require lane restrictions and closures throughout Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Upcoming lane restrictions/closures
Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 29, 2025) – There are several upcoming projects that will require lane restrictions and closures:
- Frontier will be removing aerial facilities along Hobson Road between Trier Road and East Coliseum Boulevard. The southbound lanes will be closed and there will be officer assisted flagging at the intersection of East Coliseum Boulevard and Hobson Road. This work is expected to be ongoing from September 9 – 11 between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- AEP will be installing new facilities along Rothman Road from Denise Drive to Wrangler Trail. The eastbound lane will be closed and flaggers will be posted. This work will occur on September 3 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Frontier will be installing new facilities along East Superior Street from Barr Street to Lafayette Street. The right eastbound travel lane will be restricted. This work will take place September 3 – 9 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- West Jefferson Boulevard will be restricted to one westbound lane between Park Drive and West Main Street. This work is for the construction of the new Leesburg Road Extension, a City of Fort Wayne project. This restriction will be in place from September 3 – October 3. More information here.
