On May 3, 2023, at 1922 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire in the Stonecrest II Mobile Home Court in the 4800 block of Trace Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1922 hours
On Scene: 1925 hours
Under Control: 1952 hours
Firefighters arrived on the scene and found fire on the rear of the structure and underneath the mobile home. Fire crews pulled attack hose lines for extinguishment. Fire crews also searched the mobile home and found it to be vacant. Crews extinguished the fire and the incident was placed under control in about 30 minutes. Fire crews were hampered by lack of hydrant water supply in neighborhood and had to shuttle water to the scene.
The cause of the fire and origin are under investigation.
