On April 6, 2023, at 0629 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1300 block of Oxford Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 0629 hours
On Scene: 0633 hours
Under Control: 0643 hours
Firefighter arrived to find heavy smoke from the second-floor and roof. Upon entering the structure and making their way to the second-floor, thick smoke and fire was encountered. Crews kept the fire contained to the second-floor making a quick knock down of the fire.
A rapid search was made of structure with nothing found no occupants home at the time of the fire.
The fire is under investigation.
