
On March 12, 2023, at 0142 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of North Anthony Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 0142 hours
On Scene: 0144 hours
Under Control: 0334 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found heavy fire on second-floor and attic. Crews advanced hose lines inside structure for fire control and search. Fire crews found fire in attic and second-floor and begin extinguishment. The search was completed with no one found inside home. Fire crews used arial apparatus to knock down heavy fire from roof and attic spaces. Fire crews also protected homes on both sides of the house with water streams. Crews had difficulty extinguishing fire due roof collapse and holes in floors. Fire crews took a little under two hours to place fir under control.
The home suffered significant fire, smoke and water damage.
Fire Investigators arrived and are investigating cause and origin.
