
On February 14, 2023, at 0418 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a 9-1-1 call regarding a residential fire in the 900 block of Garden Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 0418 hours
On Scene: 0424 hours
Under Control: 0542 hours
Firefighters arrived and reported flames coming from windows on the address side of a two-story duplex. It was quickly determined the building was not occupied by search and fire attack crews. The fire had spread through both floors and into the attic of half of the duplex.
The fire was brought under control in just over 20 minutes with no civilian or FWFD injuries.
Extensive overhaul operations in conjunction with fire investigations will be ongoing this morning.
