
On January 19, 2023, at 2341 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire in the 3900 block of Warsaw Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 2341 hours
On Scene: 2341 hours
Under Control: 2359 hours
The first firefighters on the scene found fire issuing from the second-floor window. Crews simultaneously searched and pulled a line to the second floor for fire extinguishment. The fire was brought under control quickly with most of the fire damage contained to one upstairs bedroom. There was, however, heavy smoke damage to the entire upstairs.
Three adults self-evacuated and nothing else was found after a complete search of the residence.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
