On November 19, 2024, at 2157 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to the area of McKinnie Avenue and Reed Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana, on a reported structure fire.

On Scene: 2201 hours
Under Control: 2212 hours
Additional callers gave mixed reports of what was on fire. FWFD Engine 11 arrived in less than three minutes and found a large detached garage heavily involved. Engine 9, Engine 12, and Truck 12 worked to contain, control, and extinguish the fire quickly.
There were no other buildings involved or damaged by the fire.
