
On November 2, 2024, at 1213 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire in the 3400 block of Alexander Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1213 hours
On Scene: 1215 hours
Under Control: 1230 hours
The first firefighters arrived and found light smoke showing from the house. Upon further investigation, they found fire in the first-floor living room area. Additional FWFD units arrived to assist. The house was vacant and uninhabited at the time of the fire.
It took approximately 15 minutes to get the fire under control.
Fire investigators determined the cause of the fire to be electrical in nature.
No injuries were reported to either people or pets.
