On September 30, 2024, at 0631 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire in the 8300 block of Redstone Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 0631 hours
On Scene: 0635 hours
Under Control: 0659 hours
The first firefighters found moderate smoke coming from the house. Crews made entry into the house and found fire in a first-floor room and into the attic. Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and searched the home. No victims were found. The house was under renovation and not occupied at the time of the fire. The fire was brought under control in 24 minutes.
The cause is under investigation.
No injuries were reported to Firefighters or Civilians.
