
On September 13, 2024, at 2247 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire in the 3200 block of Parnell Avenue.
Time of Alarm: 2247 hours
On Scene: 2249 hours
Under Control: 2301 hours
Firefighters arrived on the scene and found the back deck, fence, and exterior wall of home on fire. The occupants had self-evacuated prior to the firefighters arrival. Crews pulled hose lines and extinguished the blaze. The house was searched for any extension and the bulk of the fire damage was to the exterior of the home, with some damage to a back room of the home. Firefighters searched for and removed cats that were still inside the home.
Investigators are on the scene and investigating the cause of the fire.
