On August 26, 2024, at 1603 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire in the 1200 block of Orlando Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 1608 hours
Under Control: 1743 hours
The first unit arrived to find fire and smoke showing from multiple areas of the residence. Crews were met by the homeowners who stated everyone one was out of the house. Entry was made and a fire attack and search were conducted. The fire was throughout the attic and multiple crews were working to control the spread of the fire. Temperatures today added to the difficulty of fighting the fire. Crews remained working on the scene for an extended time searching for hidden hot spots.
The fire was cleared by investigators and found to be accidental in nature.
